Domain Name Information
This pharmacy hasn’t been online for too long. Their domain name was only registered last year and this could point towards a greater risk of them not being as legit as you might hope.
Their contact information only tells us that they are in Ontario and nothing more. Though this isn’t an attempt to hide their contact information like we see we so many online stores that aren’t reputable.
Business Contact Details
The contact information for this business is difficult to locate on the pharmacy site. It may be hidden within the membership area of the store, but it doesn’t seem to be on the main part of the site. They do offer a phone number and email address for the pharmacies that dispense the pills, however.
The address of the business is found elsewhere. They are located in Toronto, Canada.
The pharmacy says that they are legal and they follow the rules for the appropriate college of pharmacists where they operate. They do have a seal from LegitScript on their pages and checking this shows that it is valid.
The pharmacy restricts itself to a limited number of products. These are things that can be prescribed through telemedicine and fall into the following categories:
- Men’s health
- Hair loss
- Cold sores
They sell brand as well as generic pills through the site. They don’t provide the exact pricing on the store, however, only offering estimated prices. Their prices aren’t the most competitive we’ve seen, but they do seem to be from a safe source.
How it Works
Their service gives you access to doctors so that you can buy meds even if you don’t have a prescription for the pills you want. They will give you a questionnaire related to the medical treatment you think you need and this will be assessed by a Canadian doctor. You don’t need to speak to anyone, though they may contact you with additional questions to make sure you are suitable for the treatment you are looking to purchase.
This service does come with a cost above your medical order, however. They charge $40 per prescription and this lasts for a year. If you aren’t approved for the medication you want this fee is refunded. They also charge a fee for when the pills are dispensed from the pharmacy.
The service will auto-refill your medication each month or every three months. They don’t seem to offer one-off orders though this may depend on the type of medication purchased. You can pause or cancel your prescription through your account if you don’t want to continue.
Payment and Shipping
This pharmacy site is secure, using valid security certificates. You can pay for your meds using the following:
- Credit cards
- Health insurance
- Provincial health plans
Shipping is free to their customers, though they only dispatch medication within Canada. They do provide a tracking number so that you know when to expect your order. Typically orders are shipped within 2 or 3 days and they use Canada Post to deliver.
This pharmacy collects their customer feedback on the Trustpilot site. The FelixForYou.ca reviews found on that page are almost completely positive for the drugstore.
Almost all of their 146 customer reviews give the store 5 out of 5 for the service they provide. They don’t even have any 1-star feedback which is a good sign of a reliable business.
The customer comments appear to be genuine and show that their customers are very happy with the store. Many of the customer comments use the word “Amazing” in their feedback, for example.
This store is doing a lot of things right and their customers seem very happy. They have some regulations and give you access to doctors for the safe provision of meds.
There are a few issues with the store, however. They aren’t the cheapest with a consultation charge and dispensing fees, as well as being limited to Canada. For these reasons, we give them 3.6 stars.
Possible alternativesWhile brick and mortar pharmacies are a safe bet any day, online pharmacies are better, cheaper and more convenient. There is a ton of pharmacies on the internet, and this ends up confusing the consumers, as they do not know who is legitimate and who is out for a quick back. This is where we come in; our experts are constantly scouring the internet, looking for pharmacies and evaluating them based on set criteria.
We provide highly relevant information about these pharmacies, which allows you to choose where to shop for your medication and decide what establishments to stay away from. Our content is periodically updated with information about both existing and upcoming online pharmacies.
What experiences have you encountered while dealing with online drug stores? Has the quality of service in each pharmacy been exquisite? Has it been satisfying, or would you rather not talk about it? Whichever the case, share your story with us; you never know, it could save another reader a whole lot of trouble.
