Reviews. Typical Rogue Drugstore

1.1 out of 5 stars claims to offer customers the highest standards and the cheapest prices. They also say they have over seven years experience and use doctors to oversee orders to keep you safe. Our investigation shows these statements to be baseless and implausible at best and an out and out lie at worst.

Domain Information

The domain name records tell us that this site was only registered recently and only for one year. Not close to the seven years they boast on their ‘About Us’ page. This short registration makes it seem like they don’t have much faith in the website and don’t expect it to be very successful. This sort of thing is, of course, what you might expect of a scam pharmacy.

The name and address of whoever registered this domain are also hidden in the records. An additional fee would have been paid to the registrar to keep the real name and address out of the public record.

Business Name and Address

On the contact page, the name and address of the business operating this site can be found. The company is called ‘Europharm Group Inc.’ and gives a Czech Republic address. When checking this business name we are unable to find any details of this company being registered with authorities or of a corporate website. You would expect, at the very least, for a group of companies to have a corporate website. We would, therefore, assume that this is a fake business name used to make the site seem more legitimate than it really is.

The address given is the home of many other businesses. This leads us to believe that this is just a mailing address and not where the owners of this online pharmacy have their offices. In fact, the real location of the owners might be in Russia, as this is where the website is hosted. Ultimately, though we can’t be sure who is really behind this pharmacy or where the drugs are sent from either.

Mirror Websites

This online pharmacy isn’t unique, there are many other identical sites out there. When we say identical we really mean it. They are exact carbon copies, same products, same prices, with the same text on every page. Here is a list of just some of the mirror sites we have found:

Legal Approval

Online pharmacies need some form of accreditation to make sure they are sticking to the law for the country they operate in. Legal approvals are required to guarantee the safety of the drugs offered. Medstore 24h shows no sign of having any legal regulation of their business.

Since this site is based in Europe they should be following the European regulations for the distance selling of medicine for human consumption. This would require them to display the appropriate country-specific logo on almost every page of the site. No such logo is present anywhere on the site.

European online pharmacies have to be registered with government agencies in order for them to be able to operate legally. When we do a check we find that they are not registered and are therefore operating illegally.

Medication Available

The medicine available on the site seems to be mainly focused on men’s health product ranges, though quite a few other treatments are available too. They even give away a few pills from the top brand name in that sector, though they are actually going to be generic pills instead as it would be prohibitively expensive otherwise.

Whilst they claim to offer both brand name pills and generic on the site, it is highly likely that the brand name drugs are really just counterfeit versions. This really isn’t an online pharmacy which is trustworthy, as generic pills are labeled with brand names in order to deceive. Supposedly, the drugs which use the term ‘Brand’ are the real thing, whilst the rest are generic.

Prescription Requirements

They say that your order is reviewed by a doctor and they check your details, either approving or declining the request. If it is approved the doctor will write a prescription which is sent to the pharmacy.

This appears to be complete nonsense, however. It is very unlikely that a doctor is employed in this process or even that a pharmacy dispenses the medication. When you go through the ordering process all the information they request is your address and payment details. Coupon

Payments and Delivery

Purchases can be made using credit cards and Bitcoin. The site isn’t actually secure as you would expect from a reputable online retailer. When completing a checkout transaction you are diverted to a different site which is thankfully protected by an SSL certificate.

Shipping options are airmail and express mail. Airmail costs $14.95, will take up to 4 weeks and doesn’t provide any tracking. Express mail costs $24.95, will take up to 8 days but does have a tracking facility. If you are willing to put your trust in this company and make an order of over $200 you can have free airmail delivery. An order above three hundred dollars will give you free express mail shipping instead.

Customer Support

The site says that it has 24/7 customer support, but this seems highly unlikely given what we know about this site. If you get a response from completing the online form, count yourself lucky.

Affiliate Program

Strangely, they seem to treat potential affiliates for their site with more importance than customers. They say on the site that people applying to become an affiliate will get a response within 24 hours, yet customers can only expect a response in 48 hours. This goes to highlight where this website’s priorities really lie. Reviews

The opinions of other people are really useful when it comes to evaluating how reliable a website will be. You can learn if products are delivered promptly and problems dealt with successfully. When you find a lot of positive customer reviews it gives you more confidence in the online retailer. People which set up scam online pharmacies know this full well and know that it will earn them more money, which is why you often see fake reviews on these sites.

The page for reviews, on this site, is full of clearly fake reviews. Not only are the reviews fake but they are identical to the reviews found on the other mirror sites we’ve previously mentioned.

Fake reviews, a fake business name hiding the real owner’s details and confusion over which drugs (if any) are genuine brand versions are some of the other reasons why we believe this site to be a scam which you should avoid.

This pharmacy is a mirror site with duplicate content from many other identical drugstores.

This is the reason we are only giving this site a rating of 1.1 out of five.

Possible alternatives

While brick and mortar pharmacies are a safe bet any day, online pharmacies are better, cheaper and more convenient. There is a ton of pharmacies on the internet, and this ends up confusing the consumers, as they do not know who is legitimate and who is out for a quick back. This is where we come in; our experts are constantly scouring the internet, looking for pharmacies and evaluating them based on set criteria.

We provide highly relevant information about these pharmacies, which allows you to choose where to shop for your medication and decide what establishments to stay away from. Our content is periodically updated with information about both existing and upcoming online pharmacies.
