The domain name details related to this pharmacy shows some interesting information. It tells us that they have been registered since 2017, which, though longer than many pharmacies we see, still isn’t that long and could indicate they are more likely to be a scam.
There is some information about where the owner of the store is located to be found in the records. It shows that the owner is located in the capital of Ukraine.
The website doesn’t look like many of the scam pharmacies that we see, which is promising. It has been created using the WooCommerce plugin on the popular WordPress platform. They are using a site logo that matches the store’s name and uses the same color scheme as the rest of the store.
The pharmacy states their policies for quality, delivery, refunds, and more. This is a good sign of a legit drugstore, and the site is also using a valid SSL certificate for security.
Business Name and Address
They give their business name as “OnyxPills RX-Medics” and have an address in Toronto, Canada. Checking this address shows us that their offices are based above a small store on the high street.
We can check the business name to find out if it is genuine. Doing this returns no results, however, so this may not be a legal business.
This may not be a great surprise given the contradictory information found in the domain name records. The domain registration tells us that they are in Ukraine, while their business address claims to be in Canada. Both things can’t be true, and certainly, the Canadian address looks better for customers in the USA.
Legal Approvals and Certifications
While this pharmacy gives an address in Canada, they don’t have the Canadian regulatory approvals you might expect. Instead, they display a couple of seals from India.
These seals don’t link anywhere to confirm their use is valid, so we only have the word of the owners of this site that they are regulated by these organizations.
The lack of regulatory approval from Canada is concerning, showing the address used on the site may only be a mailing address. The real operating country might be Ukraine or India.
A check with LegitScript shows that our concerns are mirrored by this organization. They give the pharmacy site a rating of rogue, determining that they aren’t following the necessary regulations for the sale of pills in the United States.
Medications on Sale
There are quite a few different types of medications on sale from this pharmacy, though the focus is clearly on the men’s health market. Other types of treatment include:
- Muscle relaxants
- Hair loss
- Men’s health
- Women’s health
They are selling brand and generic pill variations, though they don’t provide the exact details of who has manufactured the pills in many cases. There is also no information given on the site about where the drugs are dispensed. We only know that they are from India, though we can’t confirm the reliability of the source.
This could mean the quality of the drugs sold isn’t what you would hope it to be. With a greater risk of the pills being fake or low-quality copies of the real thing. This could leave you with meds that don’t produce the results expected, thanks to incorrect ingredients or the wrong amounts. And once you have the pills there is no way of telling other than expensive testing.
They don’t require that you have a valid prescription to accompany your order. Though despite this, the store claims to offer consultations with registered doctors to get a private prescription. Why you would need to have a consultation to get a private prescription, when the store doesn’t require one, isn’t explained, however.
The suspicion has to be that the doctor consultations aren’t genuine. They are only mentioning this to give the appearance that they are a legit pharmacy when the truth is far murkier.
We don’t have any coupons for this pharmacy at the present time.
Payments and Deliveries
Payment for your medications takes place on a different website. This other place does have some security and they show some seals from McAfee and Comodo. Though these seals don’t link to a page providing more information about this security so it might not be valid.
They let you purchase your pills using the following payment choices:
- Major credit cards
Shipping costs $30 and is expected to take 5 to 9 business days. This does come with a tracking facility, and shipping is free when you spend more than $200 on pills.
The store has a live chat option. However, on clicking their link we find that this doesn’t work. This isn’t a great example of good customer support and suggests that your experience with the drugstore isn’t going to be very satisfactory if you have an issue.
OnyxPills.com Reviews and Testimonials
The site doesn’t have any OnyxPills.com reviews for the store, but they do have customer feedback on some of the product pages. This isn’t ideal, and we haven’t found any testimonials on other independent websites either.
The reviews they do have are only commenting on the pills and not really the service provided as a whole, but it does offer some indication of how well the pharmacy is doing. Though since it is their own site they can, of course, delete messages they don’t like.
When we dug a little into this pharmacy website, we quickly realized there are a few problems. There is confusion over their business location, is it Canada, India, or Ukraine? There is the contradiction over prescriptions, they don’t need one but offer a doctor consultation for no reason. They also don’t have regulation that we can confirm, and we don’t know exactly where the pills are coming from.
All of this leads to us giving them 1.8 stars, there are better options.
