Business/Company operating the pharmacy

There is no information about the owner or agency running the company. The website has the names who are possibly associates, but their links, i.e., for Canadian Pharmacy and XL Pharmacy merely point to the same web pages of Pharmacy XL. The affiliate program with Russian base makes the whole setup of questionable value as this is most important ever to a number of people who are well known.

In the absence of contact details, the state-wise checking for the presence of this company in the USA is not possible. Further, the approval or authorization seals of any official agency are conspicuously absent on the website as far as it’s concerned.

Since it claims to be a non-profit organization, it may be escaping the eyes of regulatory bodies associated with business, drug administration, and related areas. However, there is no factual evidence that it is registered under any statutory body.

Web platform/Domain

The web domain has been registered in 2016 and is active to date. The registrant and tech details are available on the Whois search site. The domain is quite active. The registrant and administrator seem to be Russian based while the technical base is claimed to be in the UK. The company is also has a nominal Twitter and Facebook presence.

Approval by regulatory bodies

While the company claims to have Canadian presence, it is not found in the CIPA member directory. Even a check on the associate names using .com possibilities for Canadian Pharmacy and XL Pharmacy yielded negative results. If we check the verification site.

The company does not appear in the CIPA Member database

Products sold/Quality of drugs

The products sold are typical of Rogue sites, viz, sexual health, anti-depressants, anti-anxiety, weight loss, etc. The medicines generally originate from sources in Pakistan and India with not proper authenticity or authorized license. A look at even the supposedly positive review gives conflicting information. Since the shipping is free and the transportation tracking is generally absent, the whole process does not create confidence. The fact that there is no need for prescription itself makes the activities eligible to be put under the scanner.

Customer feedback and reviews

Even discounting that one could get from independent sites, even the positive feedbacks other than the ones found on the website give a confusing picture.

Coupons and Gifts

There is no information available about coupon codes are discount directly. Gifts are supposed to be available. However, the very high discount value with prices which are 50-70% lower than market value is very disturbing.

One customer claims that with a coupon code, one can get extra 10% discount on the already low price.

Payment and Delivery

The website highlights that one can pay for Visa and Master Card. The delivery is apparently by EMS, Registered Airmail or USPS. But there is no indication of international courier services, which one would have been proudly projecting. There is a USA contact number for registering complaints or other information. However, pertinent transactions are primarily through emails.

Pharmacy-XL.Com does not give the confidence of being a genuine operator. On one hand, there is a claim that they are number 1, particularly in Canada, since 2001. Then, the online website suddenly crops up fifteen years later in 2016. Of course, it has been properly renewed and kept alive. There is activity on a regular basis and regular revamping. There is, however, no information as to the business entity that actually runs the business or handles the web domain.

The reviews do not make one feel genuinely attracted though there is mention of regular customers. Most importantly, the claim of being a non-profit organization for serving the society seems to be merely a propaganda attempt in the absence of verifiable association with statutory bodies. Better to be safe than be sorry, and give this site a miss.

Possible alternatives

While brick and mortar pharmacies are a safe bet any day, online pharmacies are better, cheaper and more convenient. There is a ton of pharmacies on the internet, and this ends up confusing the consumers, as they do not know who is legitimate and who is out for a quick back. This is where we come in; our experts are constantly scouring the internet, looking for pharmacies and evaluating them based on set criteria.

We provide highly relevant information about these pharmacies, which allows you to choose where to shop for your medication and decide what establishments to stay away from. Our content is periodically updated with information about both existing and upcoming online pharmacies.

  1. Pharmacy XL is a scam website! Over charged more than the actual total, lack of email communication and confirmation, won’t credit the over charge back unless I send out my credit card statement. Don’t buy from them, alert all customers!!
