The domain name records show that this address was registered in 2015. Scam online pharmacies have normally only been registered for a short time. A registration which is three years old could suggest a legit online pharmacy but it is far from conclusive either way.
The records reveal that contact details of the business which registered this domain name are only given as Seychelles, with the organization given as ‘NA’. Whilst this is better than using a privacy service to completely hide their details, it isn’t perfect.
Business Name and Address
The business which operates this site is called ‘Genmed Commerce Inc.’ and gives an address in Seychelles. The address they give is shared with an offshore company formations business, which suggests that this isn’t their real location but merely a mailbox service.
A search for the company name does return a website for Genmed Commerce. This site states the business is a medical trading company which has been operating since 2015. They claim to sell FDA approved medication and to be an ISO 9001 certified company, information which is also found on ClearSkyPharmacy.biz.
ISO 9001 certification is an international standard for quality management in business. It holds businesses to a higher standard of customer service and regulatory approval. Whilst the site does bear a logo for the ISO standard there isn’t a valid certification number. When checking with the company they claim to have been certified by, SGS, no records are found on their database.
The address found on this site for Genmed Commerce is in Singapore. The first result we find when searching for this address shows us that this is a virtual office service and not a real company location.
So what we have found is two mailbox addresses pretending to be real office locations and what we believe to be Fake business certification. It’s not looking very good so far.
Legal Approvals
The regulation of online pharmacies exists to make sure you are safe when buying medication on the Internet. Websites should display seals for the accreditation their store has achieved. This drugstore has no accreditation seals and claims no legal approval other than saying they dispense drugs from FDA approved locations. Whilst they say you should consult a doctor, they don’t require that you send them a copy of any prescription. You can email them your prescription which they claim a pharmacist will review as well as any medical information you provide, to make sure there aren’t any issues. Whether or not a pharmacist will really check for problems with your order, we have our doubts.
