Information about the website
This domain has been active for close to 3 years from the time it was registered on 2015-05-12. It is surprising that the pharmacy has managed to stay active for that long despite that fact that its activities are still shrouded in mystery. The name of the owner is given as Ailen Campos from Argentina.
We carried out a scam assessment on several sites to determine if this pharmacy is genuine. A search on legitscript.com reveals that the chemist has been given a red flag. It is therefore not safe to procure any product from the site.
Scamadviser.com reveals that this pharmacy has very low trust ratings, and there are very high chances that it is a scam. The pharmacy claims to be based in the United States yet it is very clear that the site is located in Argentina.
The pharmacy does not seem to have mirror websites, but there are very high chances that it belongs to an illegal affiliate program. According to scamner.com, the site seems to receive a lot of traffic from Germany, yet they claim to be based in the USA. The fact that numerous countries are involved in the websites setup is a clear indication that it belongs to a marketing syndicate.
Business Name and Address
We carried out a thorough research about this pharmacy and discovered that it does not have a legitimate business name or a valid physical address. In addition, the “about us” page does not reveal the name of the company running this pharmacy. All these revelations prove that clients might be dealing with a phantom company.
The pharmacy sells both branded and generic medications. However, the source of these medications remains unknown. We highly suspect that these drugs are sourced from Asia countries.
What is more alarming is that you can acquire any products from this pharmacy without submitting a prescription. This is a very common trend with rogue pharmacies.
Does this pharmacy comply with drug regulations?
One way of establishing if a pharmacy is genuine is to research if they comply with federal laws or have any legal approvals. This pharmacy proudly displays several seals from regulatory agencies such as CIPA, the FDA, and Pharmacy Checker among many others. However, our investigations reveal that the highlighted seals are not genuine. This pharmacy is not a member of CIPA, and it does not have any association with the FDA. This only means that the quality of drugs may be very low, and may cause tremendous harm to your health.
Prices of Medicines and Special Offers
The prices of drugs on this platform are normal. Antibiotics such as Amoxicillin costs $0.39 per pill, which is the average market price. The pharmacy does not have discount codes or coupon numbers. However, returning customers are entitled to 10% discounts on subsequent orders.
The drugstore accepts major credit cards, including Visa, AMEX, MasterCard, JCB, Discover, and Diners Club. You may also pay using E-Checks. Nevertheless, it is advisable not to engage in any form of transaction with this pharmacy, as they do not have an SSL certificate. This means that your credit card info may be compromised.
This pharmacy offers standard airmail shipping only. Shipping costs depend on the quantity of drugs ordered, destination address and the selected mode of shipping. However, the average cost of standard airmail shipping is $10 while trackable service is $30. This cost is extremely expensive compared to what genuine pharmacies are offering.
Surprisingly, Pill Stock has tons of positive reviews. We however discovered that all the positive testimonials available on the site are not genuine. Firstly, all customer reviews were posted on the same date (16-Jan-2018).
No other customer has ever posted a review since then, yet the pharmacy claims to be in operation.
In addition, all customers have given the pharmacy a five-star rating, which is also weird.
Is Pillstock.net legit or a scam?
Pill Stock is certainly a scam! The pharmacy is using deceptive business practices to defraud customers. Furthermore, they do not possess either a valid business license or a genuine approval from any regulatory body. The fact that it does not have an SSL certificate makes it extremely unsafe for credit card transactions. You are therefore advised to avoid this pharmacy as it is not safe.
For this reason, we can only give it a 1.5 out of 5 rating.
