Domain Name Information
Reviewing the database entry for this domain shows that they haven’t been operating as a pharmacy for too long. The domain has been registered since February 2020, and this indicates that the store is more likely to be a scam.
There is also some information about where the owner of the business is located. It doesn’t tell us exactly where they are located or give the name, however, it only says that they are in the Ural, Russia. While rogue drugstores often use a privacy service to hide their information from public view in the records, this is better though it lacks information and you may not want to use a Russian pharmacy.
The template the pharmacy is using is one we have seen many times in the past. This isn’t a good sign of a drugstore that isn’t a scam and could lead to problems. The other sites we have seen, are identical to this site aside from the name being different. Others include:
Business Name and Address
While we saw that the owner of the domain name was located in Russia, this information isn’t repeated on the pharmacy site. They don’t give any details of who they are or where they are based. This obviously isn’t ideal and means that there isn’t going to be any real accountability should anything go wrong with your order.
Legal Approvals and Certifications
The pharmacy doesn’t display any regulatory seals that we would normally expect to see. They do say that they are only selling medication that is produced to the highest standards from the World Food and Drug Administration or the WFDA. However, this is an organization we have never heard of, and a check shows no sign of them online.
This appears to be referring to a fake organization that sounds similar to the US Food and Drug Administration. If there really is a regulatory organization by this name, for some reason, they don’t have a website.
Checking with LegitScript shows that they haven’t yet reviewed this pharmacy as they are so new.
Medications on Sale
They are offering brand pills along with generics on their store. The prices are fairly reasonable but far from the cheapest available online.
Men’s health pills seem to be the most popular on the store, but other treatment options are offered as well. Pills sold include treatments for:
- Blood pressure
The product pages for the meds don’t contain any information about where the pills are manufactured or dispensed from. This could mean that the drugs on sale aren’t the high quality you want to receive or that the store claims to offer.
If they are actually selling meds from reliable companies why not give the name of the business? The lack of information about where the pills are dispensed from is another issue that means we have no way of telling if this is done in a professional way. This could mean that the pills you receive aren’t the correct pills you expect.
It doesn’t mention prescriptions anywhere on the store, so we checked with customer support. They did answer quickly through their live chat that no prescription was needed. This is at odds with standard practice for reputable online pharmacies, though is in line with the name of the website.
We don’t have a coupon to give you a discount for this store.
Payments and Deliveries
When you order from this pharmacy, they take you to a different website to confirm your payment. This other site does have the normal security measures in place to make sure your financial data is secure. They allow for payment of their products through the following options:
While these are the most popular credit cards, the options for payment are rather limited and will prevent many people from completing their purchase. We would normally expect a reputable business to offer more options than this to better serve their customers.
You don’t get a choice when it comes to delivery. Their International Delivery Service costs $29.95 and will take somewhere between 25 and 60 days to arrive at your door. There is currently at least a 2-week delay on shipments on top of this delivery time, however, according to customer support.
The store has email, a contact form, and live chat if you need to speak to support. The live chat pops up as you view the site, so this seems to suggest that it would be easy to talk to someone if you need help either to purchase or to chase up an order with the pharmacy. When we tested this, we were responded to quickly.
Thenorx.com Reviews and Testimonials
There isn’t a page for TheNoRx.com reviews, there is, however, a review section on the product pages. This would seem to show that the meds being sold perform in the way expected by the customers who left feedback on the site.
There is a problem with the comments found here. The dates to match what we have already found out about the pharmacy. We know the store’s domain name was registered in 2020, but many of the testimonials were posted before that date. This means that they are almost certainly fake comments that don’t relate to the pills being sold on the pharmacy site.
On the plus side, this pharmacy seems to have attentive customer support who responded quickly to our questions. Unfortunately, this is the highlight in an otherwise not very good showing from this pharmacy.
They lack any genuine regulation, don’t say where the pills come from, and lack contact information. We give this drugstore a rating of 0.9 star.
